What I’m Working On: Online Shop
I don’t know if you’ve checked out my “Online Shop” lately but if you have, you know that not much is there. And by not much, I mean it’s completely empty. It actually still says “Coming Soon” and it’s said that since March. So, I figured the time has come to get it up and running.
I am selling all the decorative accessories I have collected over the past 4 years (some I bought for clients, some for me) from antique shows and stores, flea markets, different vendors I work with, etc. Think “yard sale” but an online yard sale. Online sale sounds dumb. Estate sale would also work. That’s what my “shop” will be like. I have always loved the way Shannon from Pink Wallpaper sells her things on The Designer’s Attic (that’s a much better name) so I’m using that same layout/presentation. Take a look. She always posts amazing fabrics for great prices.
And, remember yesterday when I said I was having a phenomenal day?? Well, I was out and about with some lovely ladies buying things for the online shop (and my clients and myself). Check out the nice write-up that Laura and Megan from Events in the City posted on their blog, Beyond the Skyline. You should really get to know these girls. They are doing some truly amazing things!
