Santa Fe Snapshots.

On our last day in New Mexico, a group of us went off to spend the afternoon in Sante Fe. I had heard good things about Santa Fe from clients and friends and I wasn’t disappointed. On every street corner, vendors were selling Navajo blankets, pottery, turquoise jewelry, cowhide rugs and red pepper bundles (ristras). Just to name a few. I took a few snap shots of their wares for you to see. Western eye candy at every turn.

Santa Fe flea market finds

My favorite find was the cowhide rugs. I found an amazing source for Brazilian cowhides if you’re ever in the market. Great quality, even better prices and they ship anywhere.

Santa Fe was a great end to what was kind of a strange trip. Up until that point, I wasn’t a huge fan of where we were in the Southwest. Not that I’m hating on Albuquerque (or specifically my cousin’s wedding ) but Santa Fe wins for best New Mexican city in my book. Hands down. It saved the trip for me. I would definitely go back. Now I can understand why Christian Bale wanted to go there so badly.
