Nautical Wedding Inspriation.

My childhood best friend is getting married this summer at a waterfront resort near Ocean City, MD. She is developing a nautical theme for her big day based on the location and her families long time love affair with the Chesapeake Bay. Although her colors are hot pink and navy, I couldn’t help but pull some inspiration photos showing maritime details and hot (primary colored) hues.

  

  

Patriotic, no? Thank goodness Memorial day is this weekend, because I am suddenly ready to pick crabs and drink a beer or two (…while wearing stripes. That seems to be a common theme with me). And more importantly, thank goodness August is just a few weeks away so I can celebrate my best friend and her groom amongst this fantastically preppy and flawlessly tailored nautical backdrop.
